1. Scope

Super Pinch & Zoom (the “App”) provides product-image zoom, media lightbox, gallery and sticky-cart presentation features (the “Service”) to merchants whose stores are powered by Shopify. GreatsHub operates the App. This Privacy Policy applies when you install or use the App in connection with a Shopify store or visit our public website.

2. Information we collect

Information received from Shopify

When a merchant installs the App, Shopify provides information needed to authenticate and operate the installation. Depending on the permissions approved during installation, this can include:

• Store identity and profile information, including the Shopify store domain, store name, Shopify store ID, locale, country, currency, time zone and contact email.
• Installation and authorization information, including access and refresh tokens, granted scopes and installation status.
• Theme, product-media and app-owned configuration information needed to display and configure the App’s storefront features.
• Subscription and plan status returned through Shopify’s billing system.

Information provided directly

We may collect the information you provide when contacting support, including your name, email address, store domain, theme name, screenshots and the content of your request.

Technical information

Our servers may automatically record limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested URL, timestamps, diagnostic codes and application error logs. We use this information to secure, operate and troubleshoot the Service. The App’s product-page functionality is not designed to collect customer checkout, payment or order information.

Cookies and similar technologies

We may use essential cookies or session storage to keep merchants signed in, maintain secure sessions and remember necessary preferences. Shopify and third-party services linked from the App apply their own privacy and cookie practices.

3. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Install, authenticate, provide and maintain the Service.
• Save merchant settings and publish the selected storefront configuration.
• Confirm plan permissions and process Shopify-managed subscriptions.
• Respond to support requests and communicate important service or security notices.
• Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, prevent fraud and protect the App.
• Improve usability, compatibility and performance.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Where required by law, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent or compliance with a legal obligation as the basis for processing.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share limited information only with:

• Shopify, to authenticate the App, access approved APIs, manage subscriptions and respond to Shopify privacy webhooks.
• Service providers, such as hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, monitoring and support providers that process data on our behalf under appropriate obligations.
• Professional advisers or authorities, where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and security, or respond to a valid legal request.
• A successor organization, if GreatsHub is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

The App does not use merchant or customer personal information for third-party behavioral advertising.

5. Data retention and security

We retain installation, configuration and support information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security. When an app is uninstalled, its Shopify access is revoked and we process applicable Shopify deletion requests. Some records may remain temporarily in restricted backups or where retention is legally required.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections and access controls. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. International transfers

GreatsHub and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where it was collected. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and require service providers to protect information consistently with applicable law.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection regarding your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Merchants can submit a request by emailing us. Shopify customers seeking information about a particular store should normally contact that merchant first. We respond to Shopify’s mandatory customer-data and shop-data privacy requests as required.

8. Children

The Service is intended for Shopify merchants and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our practices or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or by email where appropriate.
